Life
The Life section is broken down into five categories. I write about a slew of riveting, depressing, awesome and sad but true life experiences. This section contains everything from my younger days spent at super strict private school, where I was forced to wear mock turtlenecks; all the way up until my college years, where I changed my major eight times and traveled the world; to my dating shenanigans with a Rolodex of Mr. Not Even Good Enough For Right Now’s & Mr. So Goods That I Could Never Be Attracted To Them Until I Was In My Late Twenties.
1. Relationships. I’m in a relationship with Life, and it’s complicated. I chronicle everything from the tragic dating mistakes and painful breakups of my years spent as a commitment-phobic serial dater.

2. Family. I also write about my dysfunctional, hilarious Family that I luuurve. My dad was a raging hippie; my mom the daughter of a fundamentalist Nazarene preacher. They got married at a church called Church On The Side Of The Road, where my mom wore a black pantsuit, and my dad wore a tan, suede leisure suit with platforms. What else could you possibly need to know? Oh, and I especially like writing about my dad and my non-daddy issues and how he’s a bit of a Pyro.
3. Blunt Bites. These posts break away from my normal, detailed laugh-out-loud (right?) posts. They are like snapshots of a significant part of my life. Sometimes, they’re serious. Sometimes, they’re funny. But they’re always gonna be delicious. Yum.

4. Confessions. I’m not Catholic, so I have to write out all of my confessions. There’s no telling what you may find in there. So maybe I like to eat corn right off of a dirty picnic table.
