As usual, I couldn’t sleep. I ended up watching a classic movie called Penny Serenade. You know, black & white. Cary Grant. Some prude who never takes off her apron and always buttons her shirt to the top.
I have two words for this movie: lame.
I realize that classic movies are supposed to be the height of Hollywood glamor and awesomeness, but man, they suck. Hardcore. Total snoozefest. I’d rather watch a Matthew McConaughey chick flick. But you know what? I think I’ll keep it on my shelf so people can still think of me as one of those people who appreciates old movies. As a matter of fact, I’ll set it right next to my antique copy of War & Peace that I’m not even going to pretend that I’ve ever cracked open, which looks great right next to my vintage camera that I’ve never used.
This conversation naturally makes me think of other things that I dislike: women.
When I think back on it, women really haven’t changed all that much since elementary school, when I’d come home and burst out into the ugly cry over something a mean girl did. I was hoping that when I got past college, they would stabilize. Nope. Still crazy. Although the reasons behind the craziness may have changed with time, they are still, very much, crazy. Hating other women for no good reason. Asking their boyfriends the world’s most stupid questions. Flipping out on poor unsuspecting men. Bursting with ravenous jealousy. I can’t even count how many women I’ve been told that hate me, that have never actually talked to me.
Let’s look at a few demonstrations of female behavior over the past twenty years of my life.
[4th GRADE: the betrayals begin]
Me: Hey Annie, wanna come over tonight and we can organize our sticker collections? [Yes, we really had them]
Annie: Um, actually, I’m going to Becky’s house after school. Oh, I don’t think I told you that we had a talk and she wants to be “secret best friends” with JUST me. Isn’t that mean?
Me: Psssh! YEA! I thought we were all best friends?
Annie: Yea, but she wants to leave you out.
Me: Well you told her that was a stupid, crappy idea, right?
Annie: Well, actually…um…. we ARE secret best friends now. Just her and I.
Me: UM, so I see that our three-way best friend NECKLACES mean nothing to you! Huh? You lying, backstabbing, dirty little tramp!
[10th GRADE: the unwarranted hatred and jealousy begin]
Friend: [leaning in so close to me that I’m forced inside my locker] Amber doesn’t like you!
Me: What? Wait. Who the heck is Amber?
Friend: The girl who hangs out with Margie.
Me: I don’t even know her.
Friend: But she’s totally spreading rumors about you!
Me: What? Rumors? But why?
Friend: Well, she likes Andy. But Andy likes you.
Me: Ok. But how can I help THAT? Besides, I wouldn’t date Andy in a million bagillion years.
Friend: Well. She’s pissed. And she’s telling everyone you’re a spoiled beotch!
Me: Spoiled? That isn’t even kinda true. I work at Chuck E. Cheese and drive a 1964 Dodge?
[25 YEARS OLD: the false rumors and accusations begin]
Me: You know who I really like? Sandy. She’s so nice.
Co-worker: OH, that’s weird. Cus Sandy is not a fan of you.
Me: Not a fan?
Co-worker: I overheard her talking to someone, but I can’t say who. Anyway, she said that the boss favors you cus you got Employee of the Month again.
Me: But I out-performed everyone in the department? They would be breaking their own rules by not giving it to me.
Co-worker: Well I don’t know. That’s just what I overheard.
Me: What am I supposed to do? Suck at everything so Sandy will like me?
Co-worker: I’d try to stay on her good side if I were you. She’s telling everyone that you’re cheating on your boyfriend.
Me: WTF? I don’t even have a boyfriend.
As we can see, there is no rhyme, reason or logic going on here. And I’m not saying I hate all women. Just the ones who are ridiculous.

A little over a year ago a friend of mine set me up with one of his gf’s friends. I dont usually do blind dates but figured what the hell. Started talking to her, nice girl attractive smart interesting and fun. From my perspective everything was going good, a few times we set aside days to hang out see a movie or go to dinner always at the last minute she would reschedule. Afterwards i would lose interest and she would contact me again and set aside another day, this went on 8 or 9 times. The last time it happened I stopped by her place to wish her a happy b-day. All these stories? They create horrible atrocious lies about women. They dont just want a good kind man. They arent all hoping for lvoe and to be swept off their feet. They are ruthless. The good guy never wins. Fate wont one day lead you to the perfect woman for you and it all ends even remotely happily ever. Over 50% of America gets divorced for crying out loud. Lately, movies especially make me severely ill and very upset when I watch them. these women have the smallest of problems and everything works out in the end. it is bullshit. I do agree with much that has been said here. I’m in my late teens, so I can’t say too much, but I can nolonger see any point in a relationship. I’m with someone at the moment, and whilst I am very attracted to her I want to love her, some feeling, not sure what the cause is.
But during college today I sat with a group of friends on playing-field. I learnt from the conversations that, out of the four guys, we were all virgins, and weren’t particularly bothered about women to any extent. A girl sat with us, who used to be very nice, said that she’d got off with 16 guys in the last year, then some other girl said that she liked to kiss girls, and I just thought ‘whoaa…’ – they don’t give about us, it’s more of a ‘fun’ thing to do.
I’m young yes, but having read this forum I think I might split up with my gf. I’m good looking now, when younger I was insulted a lot by girls who said I’m ugly, like 2 year ago. Guys sometimes do that, but I swear, many of my good friends don’t.
I also was friends with a lass bout a year ago, she asked out my friend, and fancied him. As soon as she found a different boy to follow, she never spoke to me again unless she had to.
I’ve also had a lot of girls say things behind my back, like “he’s weird” simply cos I’m not as materialistic as they are. One girl thought I was strange for being a Buddhist??! They seem to decide whether or not to like me before actually speaking to me.
I went out with a girl last Summer, who was cheating on her boyfriend, without me realising.
The girl I’m going out with now has had many guys before, and I’ve already done quite a lot with her, no fault of mine, we’ve been seeing each other for a week and she came to my house :S But does she actually like me, or am I simply something to keep her happy? I mean, I enjoy keeping her happy; but my aim in life is to be selfless with all people, and a girl who is materialistic and comments on how big my **** is isn’t exactly pushing me in the right direction.

To be quite blunt, as implied with this blog, I have to say that I am personally not fed up with women but their attitudes. I am a male college degree, good stable job beautiful car (not since some clown texting on his cell phone nailed me.) And was raised to have respect for women. The rhetorical question I have, is if parents are raising their girls to have respect for men? I have always been told by women across the board that men are horrible pigs becuase they see women as sex objects and nothing more. I hope nobody sees me as harboring a personal bias, but here it it is. I see a lot of women turning men into objects these days. Experienced it too! My dating life is hell becuase I like to be chivalrous, but I feel when I open the doors and help her into the car when we are out on the town, she interprets that as me being her personal slave. I was engaged to a pretty girl, not from in the US though. We went very well together as partners in crime. When I put the ring on the finger though after nearly a year of seeing each other, She insisted that I forfeit my “Manly habits” no, I am not talking about some of our less desirable features in the eyes of women like our lack of organizational skill, but rather, She wanted me to give up teaching firearms defense lessons, which I have taught to women who have had problems with stalkers before. She also wanted me to give up my choice in movies (big bond fan here.) Pretty much everything that defined me as a male interest wise, was wrong in her eyes. I was willing to make some sacrifices for her, but she continued to establish her dominance, and as a good friend of my put it. “wanted my balls in her purse”
We liked each other the way we were! Because we fell for each other that way! Instead she tried to change me. It wasn’t too long after she took pride in publicly belittling me over dumb things. Often poking fun at my career choice and poking fun at what seemed to her as my “physically lacking features.” (Keep in mind I was bench pressing 300 pounds at the time and doing vigorous cardio four times a week. It was never enough either that I would drive an hour to her work at 1am to get her her favorite dish. Also I was not allowed to greet her but in a way that she approved. Not at one point was I viewed as her equal.
Finally I had enough and realized that I would be worse in marriage relationship. So I asked for my ring, balls and dignity back. Then the stalking began. (yep she was stalking me)
Not all women are like this, but I wonder if girls are taught growing up to have respect for men. We get a bad rap as being sex-crazed rapists with no self-control. This may seem “Sexist” but think of all the great men who have lived. Not all men are bad, most I would argue most are good. None of us man or woman are perfect. I have other relationship horror stories, but don’t want to waste your time.

I just recently found this thread and I have to say I am really impressed by what ive read. I used to be one of those stupid ass guys that used to think that there was a good girl out there for me. A few relationships later things suddenly got clear. I have grown to hate women. Women today dont know what the fuck loyality is, they just drop their pants to the first guy they make eye contact with reguardless of how well you treat them. That Clybourne Doorguy wasnt lying, he is pretty damn smart.

Really my ex wife beat my daughter and stole everything i worked for and even after that every woman i have ever dated has done exactly what the first person wrote about. I just have to say, LORD am I glad I found you! It’s nice to be reassured that we sane and humorous ladies might not be a dying breed! This was just what I needed after discovering that I have yet another (excuse the lame pop-culture reference) ‘frenemy’. Apparently being a genuinely nice, friendly, confident grown-up (this is a loose definition, I mostly mean that I can ‘use my words’ and I don’t play mind games) is unacceptable to the vast majority of (possibly insecure/threatened?) females I’ve encountered. And the fact that their dislike/underhandedness only amuses me just seems to piss them off. Anywho, to the point – kudos on the writing and please keep it coming 🙂

Well I’d like to add my two cents…
As a 45 year old virgin, who has had NOTHING but contempt from women, I find it increasingly difficult to even ATTEMPT to treat them with courtesy. This is why I intend to begin using escorts as soon as I have the spare money. It is the only option left for me. Our society is FUCKED…and the sooner it comes to an end, the better.

I agree the women that I’ve met are cold, ruthless and manipulative whores. I’ve also noticed that they are getting progressively worse. I have met few nice women and the ones that I have met are not memorable compared to the heartless bithes. I come across on a daily basis.
